Presented at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery during Milan Design Week 2026, Smile is a collection that investigates the relationship between object and contemporary language, turning furniture into a direct medium of emotional expression.
The collection comprises two seats — one marked by a smiling emoji, the other by a surprised one — accompanied by a table and a pair of vases. By using a universal visual code, Smile translates digital language into physical presence, shaping objects that are not merely functional but become activators of relationships.
The seats are 3D printed in PLA, a material derived from renewable sources, with an internal honeycomb structure that optimises the balance between lightness and strength. Aluminium tubular frames add stability and durability, while the painted surfaces are crossed by rainbow-inspired gradients that amplify the dynamic perception of each piece.
